Exciting news! We will be switching to a new refrigerated courier service starting Tuesday 23rd July.
Shorter Wait Time & Better Handling
There are 2 main reasons for the change. Firstly, we will eventually be able to offer next day delivery (not straight away, but watch this space!). And second, we are confident the new couriers (SLR Trans Refrigerated Transport) will handle boxes more carefully than our current courier.
No Tracking Initially
In the beginning, we wont be able to offer tracking as we'll still be building software connections to communicate proof of delivery to customers etc. But this is a high priority so will be sorted in good time.
Limitation of Some Bakery & Meat Lines
In order to be able to offer 2 day and even next day delivery, we will have to limit our offering of goods that we don't keep in stock ourselves. Bread and some meat products will suffer a little here as these suppliers need orders a day or 2 in advance.
We are still aiming to keep some core bakery lines in stock daily. And only some of the meat range will be removed.
Same If Not More Coverage
Our delivery area coverage will almost completely remain the same, with some small exceptions. We'll also be adding some new areas - See below!
Most Areas Tue-Fri Delivery ~ No Weekend Delivery Yet
SLR don't currently deliver on weekends, although they may in future. We will be able to offer delivery Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to most areas though! .. Less options if you live further from Brissy.

Brisbane Wider Area, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Toowoomba, Gatton, Jimboomba, Tweed, Kingscliff.
Areas with just Tuesday & Friday Delivery:
Warwick, Gympie, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Casino, Kyogle, Nimbin.
Areas with just Wednesday Delivery:
Murwillumbah, Byron Bay & Ballina, Lismore, Maclean, Yamba, Evans Head, Grafton.
Areas with just Thursday Delivery:
Tamborine, Beaudesert, Chinchilla, Dalby, Kilcoy & Blackbutt, Roma.
Quicker Order to Delivery Turnaround!
We are working towards next day delivery with the new couriers. In the meantime, we now have a 2 day turnaround between order and delivery (instead of 3 days previously).
So for example, previously orders closed 10pm Sunday for Wednesday delivery, now orders close 10pm Sunday for TUESDAY delivery.
