A true wholegrain layer ration — old-fashioned scratch mix style — designed specifically for backyard laying hens.

This blend looks like a wholesome “muesli” for chooks: certified organic wheat, barley, sorghum, triticale, pearl millet, sunflower seed, mung beans, corn and more — all left whole (not milled) for natural foraging behaviour, interest, and slower, satisfying eating.

Mixed throughout is a concentrated protein pellet containing the essential vitamins, minerals, protein meals and micronutrients needed for shell strength, feather health and consistent egg laying — so you don’t need to add extra supplements separately.

Ideal for hens from approx. 18–20 weeks onward. For pullets, start blending this with the CHF Organic Chick Starter Grower Mash at around 16 weeks to transition smoothly.

Typical intake: 130–150g per hen/day.
Offer ad lib via a raised self-feeder to minimise waste.
Fresh drinking water must always be available.
